QuikSoil™

Rising fuel costs and public awareness of climate change mean that even greater pressure is placed on compost operators to reduce greenhouse gas and VOC emissions and odour. QuikSoil™506 has successfully addressed these problems by using microbiology instead of excess mechanisation. Of even greater importance, QuikSoil™506 provides a means by which compost can play an integral part in slowing climate change and decreasing CO2 levels in the upper atmosphere.

QuikSoil™ 506 has resulted in reduced odour concerns and complaints at a number of sites in the UK over the last two years. It has also: reduced fuel consumption and related emissions; reduced the activities which cause CO2 and VOC emissions by up to 75%; established more neutral pH levels in the final product; and achieved less mineralization and higher organic retention.
