BAT 506 compost additive is composed of proteins, nucleic acids, minerals, and intermediate metabolic compounds. This combination increases biological activity and especially, biological diversity allowing the fastest controllable rate of decomposition. By increasing the ability of the composting mass to act as its own biofilter, odour release is dramatically reduced. The 506 composting system results in less materials handling, less fuel consumption, less greenhouse gas emissions, and again in reduced volatilization of odorous gases.
The addition of QuikSoil™ technology added to the 506 product is dramatically increasing the rate of stabilization in compost, making carbon sequestration a reasonable possibility. GOC’s goal is to create an end product that is as close to humus as possible in a reasonable amount of time. GOC produces a wide range of additional products including a complete line of topical contact deodorisers.
